Welcome to FBC Jolly Texas

We are the First Baptist Church Jolly and along with our pastor, Reverend Robert Allen and wife Erica, celebrated their one year anniversary of serving on staff in April. We would like to invite you to come and experience the thrill and excitement of what God is doing through our church. Souls are being saved and lives are being changed for the honor and glory of Jesus Christ. Our church is growing and it is amazing and wonderful to see God's hand of blessing on our church as we seek His will and His purpose in our church and in our lives. We have something for everyone at FBC Jolly. For children we have Vacation Bible School June 27th through July 1st 6-8:30 nightly, we have begun RAs and GAs which will resume on Sunday evenings after children's choir this fall, Wednesday Evenings Bible Studies with Arts & Crafts, and Children's Camp coming in August. For teens we have Special Teen Services once a month, special activities announced in class, and Teen Camp was a great success where our teens came together as a group, souls were saved, lives changed and hearts surrendered for full time ministry. Each camper was sponsored fully by our church family to attend Teen Camp! What a church family!  For Adults and Families, we have Ladies Craft Nights, Outreach, Wednesday Evening Bible Studies, Breakfast Sundays, Activities, Adult Choir, and many opportunities to serve our Lord and Savior. If you are searching for a church home, pray about First Baptist Jolly. We are only ten minutes east of Wichita Falls and it is worth the drive. Come see what our Savior is doing. If you are searching for answers that only God can give, come visit us. He loves you and gave His life for you. Come be a part of our family!

Announcements

September 2011

Children, Teens and Adults are busy with their school schedules as we keep them in our prayers for safety. Friday night Football has begun. Attend one of the area games to support our teens.

This September 11, 2011, we will honor our heroes and remember 9/11 in a special service at 11am. No evening services.

Pastor and Mrs. Allen have started a Young Married/Relationship Class that meets from 7-7:30pm following the Sunday evening worship. Engaged, newly wed & couples wanting to enrich their marriage are welcome to attend and grow in Christ and in your relationship.

Adult Choir meets Sundays at 5pm led by Pastor Allen. Teen Choir meets Sundays at 5:30pm led by Pastor Allen & Wesley Pickens. Children's Choir meets at 5:30pm led by Mrs. Allen.

Children's Bible Training meets at 6pm Sunday evenings: this includes a Bible study program with reading, activity sheets, projects, Verse memorization & application, and activities with volunteers.

September 19th 6:30pm meet at the church for a light supper and Churchwide Outreach: help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

AWMMU News: Mary Hill Davis Missions offering this month: be in special prayer for our missionaries September 11th-17th: pray what you can do and give. Meeting September 7th at 7pm.

Adult Bible Studies with Pastor Allen continue on Wednesday evenings at 7pm following the prayer meeting at 6:45pm. Children's Bible & Craft Time on Wednesday evenings at 7pm with Mrs. Allen.
